excursionとouting-意味の違いを解説
小学生の頃によく行った「遠足」は、
「a school trip」と言いますが、
「a school excursion」や「a school outing」とも言います。
excurtionは、楽しむために行くshort tripです。
outingは、家から離れた場所へのshort trip（通常複数の人で）です。
また、tripやretreatも「旅行」という意味で、
社会見学や現地調査は、a field trip、
会社の研修旅行は、a company retreat
というように使われます。
