be concerned aboutとbe concerned with-意味の違いを解説
concernedは、形容詞です。
基本的な意味は、「心配して、懸念して、関心がある、興味がある」ですが、
後に来る前置詞によって意味が変わってきます。
be concerned about～は、「～を心配する、懸念する」
ですし、
be concerned with～だと、「～関心がある、興味がある」
という意味になります。
名詞は、concernですが、
「心配、懸念／関心、興味」という意味を持っています。
仕事でも、何か懸念を伝えたい時に、
I'm concerned about the current situation. 現状を懸念している
とも言えますし、
My concern is the production delay in our factory. 私の懸念は、工場の生産遅延だ
いう言い方もできます。
また、
As far as I am concerned,～ 私の考えとしては、～
や、
Thank you for your concern. お気遣い頂きありがとうございます
という定型表現も、
