RCAとcountermeasureは、

エンジニアとして仕事をしていると、日常的に使う用語です。

エンジニアの現場では、

problem/issue 問題が発生すると、

RCA(Rot Cause Analysis） 真因解析を行い、

countermeasure 対策を講じます。

そして、

solve the problem/issue　問題を解決します

root casuseは、根っこにある原因を表し、

「真の原因、根本原因」という意味です。

また、

take countermeasures(measures) for(against)～という熟語は、

よく使われ、

「～に対して対策を講じる」という意味です。
